View on YouTube Tall Ships Event In Boston Harbor Is Assigned Highest Security Risk
The arrival of the Tall Ships in Boston Harbor this weekend has been given the highest security risk assigned by the federal government — greater than the Boston Marathon and Boston’s July Fourth celebration and equivalent to a Super Bowl or presidential inauguration, city emergency officials said Tuesday.
“Given the world that we live in now, we have to think of this on the large scale,” said Rene Fielding, Boston’s director of emergency management.
