Obama was not a regular church-goer while in office, and only seemed to go when he was up for reelection and needed to woo the faithful. Now that he has left office and started his never-ending vacation, he rarely darkens the doors of a Christian church.
In Indonesia, however, he has found a number of non-Christian temples to visit.

Obama remains popular in the world’s most populous Muslim nation and his trip has been splashed across the media during an extended public holiday to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. The Rakyat Merdeka newspaper carried a headline ‘Obama loves Indonesia’.
