LIVE: NASA Cassini probe plunges into Saturn to end 20yr mission

NASA is providing live footage of the final moments of the Cassini spacecraft, as it plunges through Saturn’s atmosphere and vaporizes to end its 20-year mission. The robotic explorer was launched on October 15 in 1997 and entered the orbit around Saturn on June 30, 2004, after a 2.2 billion-mile (3.5 billion km) interplanetary journey.
