Russia launches 4 ballistic missiles during strategic military drills

Russian military forces launched four ballistic missiles during tests which also involved long-range bombers in four different locations across the country. Footage shows the launch of a Topol missile at Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk Region, aimed at the Kura military range, in northern Kamchatka Region.

Two other ballistic missiles were fired from nuclear-powered submarines of the Pacific Ocean fleet and one from a Northern Fleet submarine located in the Barents Sea.

Besides the missiles launch, fighter jets Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Tu-22M3 conducted flights from the Ukrainka, Engels and Shaikavka airfields and fired cruise missiles at the targets in Kamchatka, Republic of Komi and Kazakhstan.
