French students and police squared off in Paris on Wednesday, as the students protested university reform.
The police deployed tear gas to disperse the crowd, who shouted slogans and hurled eggs at the officers.
University and secondary school students called for a march against French President Emmanuel Macron’s planned university reform, which will include changes to France’s university admission rules.
