The Turkish president has announced a plan to extend his country’s military operation against Kurdish forces in Syria, which Ankara calls terrorists.
The fight will now move to positions held by US-backed Kurdish groups in the town of Manbij.
And it’s feared that could lead to direct confrontation with American troops stationed there.
