The UN’s special envoy to Syria has welcomed a brief ceasefire in the city of Douma in eastern Ghouta. Staffan de Mistura also renewed calls for an end to hostilities across the country. Red Cross spokesperson for the Middle East Iolanda Jaquemet comments on the situation in Syria.
