10. One of the military bases had a meeting one morning, and explained what veterans can do to exchange through the finance office. Every base will have its own procedure. I don’t know if veterans will get a better rate. I do know they will know before we know, because they have service members coming back from overseas all the time. Veterans may have trouble getting onto the base to exchange, though.
11. Apparently one of the major banks is asking for a delay because the other banks didn’t get the procedures and they want to talk about this first. We’ve known about this for ten years, and they have each had a turn at being the foundation or lead bank, so for them to be coming out with this excuse so late in the game is absurd. This bank has already been exchanging from years ago, so I don’t think they have anything to cry about.
12. Everything is in motion, and if they are already giving out the lower denoms and fils, they can’t get them back… so they cannot stop the process.

2. It also appears that the lazy RV is also about to crack open and get started for all the smaller groups.

I just stopped at one of our small Wells Fargo branches in my hometown in Wisconsin to transfer some money to our grandson at college. I asked the teller if she had been trained in any new foreign currency processing. She stepped back, looked to the side with a smirk on her face, and then said, yes! Then I asked her when they were going to start using it. She paused, looked at me. . . and said, “it’s supposed to start going live today.”
