RAW: Russian nuclear sub launches cruise missile at surface target (MoD footage)

Russian nuclear missile submarine cruiser ‘Tomsk’ launched a cruise missile at a surface target in the Sea of Okhotsk, as shown on footage released by the Russian Ministry of Defence on Monday. According to the Russian MoD, an anti-ship missile successfully hit its target, simulating a surface ship of a conventional enemy at a distance of 150km (93 miles). In addition, the submarine carried out a covert movement under water to the launching position and escaped from enemy fire after launching the missile.
