Bus driver Irena Ivic rescued a less than one-year-old child wandering alone and barefoot and in a diaper on a freeway overpass in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Ivic spotted the child just before 08:00 am local time on December 22, and pulled over to grab the young girl and bring her on board the bus.

Police were then able to bring the girl safely back to her family. According to reports, the girl’s mother was suffering a mental health crisis at the time, and left her child outside.
