Far too many disabled kids in Russian children’s homes face a future that’s uncertain, at best. In a bid to help at least some of them, the ‘Road of Life’ charity visits these institutions to carry out medical examinations. The kids that can be cured are taken to Moscow for treatment and, afterwards, the charity finds them new homes.
RTD follows charity staff and two children who strive to win the love of potential new parents and struggle to leave their traumatic pasts behind.
