At Shanghai Jiangnan-Changxing Shipbuilding Company, workers have to take their body temperature measurement twice a day. First when they arrive at work and again when they are leaving the factory.

Labor-intensive manufacturers in China are having a hard time. On one hand, they need to resume operations to survive; on the other hand, coronavirus control is a huge challenge for these companies.

Due to the incompletely official list of companies that must immediately start operating, some local authorities even dispatched police to suppress people who were preparing to start work.

When Chinese authorities ordered companies to resume operations, they had an official list of companies that must immediately start operating.
However, chaos at the management level has caused confusion for companies that are not on the list.

Workers in the companies that are not on the list were asked to return to work and local authorities in some places dispatched police to suppress these people.

In this video, many workers from Zhejiang Province went back to Qingyang Trade City in Jiangsu Province, believing that trade city would reopen. Instead, what awaited them was a large number of policemen, ready to attack and suppress business owners and workers if they dared to resume trading in the market.

This is a very miserable situation for those who travelled long distances to come back to work.
