President Trump renaming the Gulf of America and Lake America 💥

Ever wonder why some people swear “America” is a single continent, while English speakers insist it’s two?

The answer isn’t just geography it’s a wild mix of mapmaking history, 20th-century engineering, and Cold War geopolitics.

Here’s how America went from one giant continent to being split in two by the English-speaking world:

1. The Single Continent Era (1507 – Late 1800s)
In 1507, German mapmaker Martin Waldseemüller created a world map and labeled the new landmass “America” in honor of Italian explorer Amerigo Vespucci. For centuries it was viewed as one continuous continent, distinct from Europe, Asia, and Africa. Even standard British and American schoolbooks taught the single-continent model well into the 19th century.

2. The Panama Canal Split (1914)
For a long time the only thing connecting the northern and southern landmasses was the narrow Isthmus of Panama. In 1914, the opening of the Panama Canal physically severed that connection with a permanent shipping channel. This massive engineering feat gave geographers a strong physical and psychological argument to start treating the two halves as separate entities.

3. The Cold War Re-Write (1950s)
The real reason the single-continent view largely vanished from English textbooks comes down to post-WWII geopolitics. Before the war, the U.S. favored isolationism and the idea of a unified “Western Hemisphere.” As America emerged as a global superpower during the Cold War, strategy shifted toward global military alliances like NATO. Around the same time, plate tectonics science showed North and South America sit on separate plates. American and British educators 👉(it all goes back to the 👑)👈 officially adopted the seven-continent model we use today.

Where the Single Continent Still Lives…
While English speakers use the 7-continent model, most Romance-language nations (Latin America, Spain, Portugal, Italy, etc.) still teach the traditional 6-continent model treating America as one grand, united continent.

This historic view is why the Olympic flag has only five rings for the five inhabited continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania… and one single ring representing the entire American landmass.

Leave up to the cabal to change history …

Thank God for President Trump dismantling all this disception🙏

You are witnessing the dustruction of the old guard folks⚔️

💥Scaling directed energy capabilities is a critical technology area for the Department of War to protect the homeland and secure our southern border.

💥The Department is collaborating with industry partners to rapidly field low-cost, deep-magazine directed energy solutions to neutralize cartel drone threats.

💥The United States will continue to counter adversarial drone incursions with light-speed lethality. 🇺🇸
