Spanish police engage in high speed boat chase with suspected drug smugglers

Three suspected drug smugglers have been arrested after a high speed water chase in Spain.

The Spanish Civil Guard used a helicopter and a speed boat to intercept the two Moroccans and a Spanish national at Sabinillas beach in Malaga.

The group was detained on land after their high-powered vessel was rammed by the Civil Guard during the pursuit.

Authorities say they found a shipment of hashish onboard.
