An unusually strong tornado hit western Germany on Wednesday evening, as shown in footage filmed in Schwalmtal, North Rhine-Westphalia. Two people were injured in Viersen, 10km (6.2mi) northeast of Schwalmtal, which was hit especially hard by the natural phenomenon.
