On May 13, it was announced that Attorney General William Barr had assigned U.S. Attorney John Durham to investigate the origins of the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential election. Durham was the guy very publicly tapped to conduct the probe into how the Trump–Russia collusion hoax began not just because of his qualifications, but also because he already had been read into the “Spygate” plot. While Russiagate Was Fake, Spygate Is Real, and Horowitz Is About to Prove It

Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz turned in his report into potential FISA abuses to Attorney General William Barr almost four weeks ago. During this time, nothing has leaked, which is quite telling in itself. If there was anything that could be leaked from this report that would mitigate the coming fallout, we’d have seen it by now. This points to the report being incredibly damaging to the Obama administration.

News of the department’s decision to open a criminal probe into the origins of the Obama administration’s counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign was first reported by the New York Times and the Associated Press on Thursday. U.S. Attorney John Durham had been reviewing the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation since May this year.

Political Elites Are Untouchable No More

The breathtaking hypocrisy of many of President Donald Trump’s accusers is about to be fully exposed.

If you’ve been watching the impeachment theater these past few weeks, you’ve no doubt heard the very serious crimes they accuse the U.S. president of having committed.

They have accused him of using his office for political gain and pressuring Ukraine to help investigate former Vice President Joe Biden.

The fake news media has begun a full-court press to sell the narrative of a besieged president who is slipping underwater, growing more and more unpopular by the day, as so-called whistleblowers and manufactured scandals surround him.

The problem is, Trump neither looks nor acts like a president who is under siege. In fact, he looks to me like he’s having the time of his life.

I believe that a big reason why Trump looks like he’s really enjoying himself these days is that he knows what’s about to go down.

What If the House Impeaches Trump?

The impeachment craze is in full force. House Democrats are in full-court-press mode and are determined to impeach President Donald Trump.

The grounds for impeachment are sketchy, to say the least, and revolve around the word of a whistleblower whose allegations were based on secondhand information (hearsay) and who is allegedly against the president.

While the House controls the decision as to whether to impeach, the Senate determines the rules regarding a subsequent trial. As such, if the House passes articles of impeachment that appear to be nothing more than a politically motivated effort to oust the president, the Senate should seriously consider delaying the trial or immediately dismissing the case upon motion by the president’s legal team.

The Suspicious Whistleblower Complaint

The timing of the most recent whistleblower complaint is somewhat suspicious. Given that the inspector general’s (IG) report pertaining to Russia and possible Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse is currently in the hands of Attorney General William Barr, a discussion about some alleged and hypothetical “wrongdoing” involving the president and a foreign individual could certainly deflect the attention away from what might be in store for some members of the deep state when the IG report is released to the public.
