The activists want to raise awareness, not only of the scale of surveillance, but of abuses caused by officers working undercover.

A solo Russian sailor travelling from Stockholm to Spain was rescued by the coastguard off the eastern Swedish coast on Friday, after he became stranded on a small rock at sea.
While stranded, the sailor utilized moss to create a HELP sign on the small rock he was found on.
The man was brought to a nearby hospital, and is said to be in good condition.

According to the SANA news agency, Syrian Army units re-established control over the island of Huweijit Saqar near Deir ez-Zor on Thursday, amid an ongoing offensive against ISIS.
