Mummy wearing gold-gilded face mask discovered at ancient Egypt burial ground

A silver face mask gilded with gold, a mummification workshop, mummies and sarcophagi have all been discovered at a tomb complex in Saqqara, Egypt, an Egyptian-German team announced on July 14.

The complex contains several burial shafts dug into the ground, some of them extending more than 100 feet (30 meters) deep, the team said in a statement.

At least some of the finds date back around 2,500 years, including the silver face mask, which dates to sometime between 664 B.C. and 404 B.C., the statement said.

This detail has made for four decades, have doubted its authenticity, but the research of a team from Brown University, in the US, ensures that it is not only authentic but also the oldest of all the preserved manuscripts of ancient America. The researchers have published the results of the study in the Mayan Archeology journal.

SpaceX will not send tourists to the moon this year as previously announced, and will delay the project until mid-next year, US media reported.
“A new timetable for the flight, now postponed until at least mid-2019 and probably longer, has not been released” by the California-based company, the report said in The Wall Street Journal. The reason for the delay is not clear. But it is a “signal that the technical and production challenges are upsetting founder Elon Musk’s plans for human exploration of the solar system,” the report said.

Although they say that this creature was described a hundred years ago in ancient texts, the truth is that they do not know if it is the same creature. But the fossil has been dated to 500 million years.

In 1978, David Rorvik, a medical journalist who worked for the New York Times and Time magazine, wrote a book called “In His Image: The Cloning of Man . ” In the book, Rorvik claimed that a human clone had just been born. Everyone believed the story. After all, it was a text written by a known and credible journalist, and published by a well-known editorial in the field of medicine. However, the scientific community was not so gullible.
