North Korea Fires Ballistic Missile Test, Trump Immediately RESPONDS…

North Korea just fired off another ballistic missile just days before President Trump and other world leaders will gather for the G20 Summit in Germany this week.

The missile was reportedly airborne for 20 minutes and landed in Japan’s Exclusive Economic Zone, according to Japanese officials.

The Japanese have condemned the missile launch as a clear violation of UN resolutions.

The missile was launched around 0040 GMT (8.40 p.m. ET) from an airfield in Panghyon, about 100 km (60 miles) northwest of the North’s capital, Pyongyang, the South Korean military said.

The North’s missile launch is the last since Pyongyang fired several cruise missiles in early June and comes ahead of the leaders of the United States, China, Japan and South Korea are expected to discuss efforts to rein in the North’s nuclear and missile tests the G20 summit on July 7 to 8.

President Trump immediately reacted to the news on Twitter:
North Korea has been at the forefront of numerous international meetings that Trump has held with world leaders in recent weeks.

Following the death of Otto Warmbier, the American student who was detained in North Korea for 18 months and returned in a comatose state, Trump has revisited North Korea conversations with China, Japan, and South Korea.

The White House hosted South Korean President Moon Jae-In just last week, at which point Trump “called for a determined response to North Korea.
The President also reiterated the importance of a strong alliance between the U.S. and the South.
