The participants dealt with aerial reconnaissance, harassing attacks and other potential problems in hot weather which reached nearly 40C (104F) in east China’s Anhui Province. By using a combination of multiple bombs, exploring, establishing and occupying the launch sites quickly, and rapidly forming the artillery fire group reacting to the fire, the drill assessed the artillery group’s strike capabilities.
