I hope that people aren’t expecting much to come out of the trade negotiations currently underway between the USA, Mexico, and Canada. The United States, by virtue of its insatiable hunger for cheap plastic electronic gadgetry and a propensity for self-centeredness, will always run a trade deficit against countries with vastly different cultures.
