The Russian military has launched airstrikes on terrorist positions in Syria’s Idlib and Deir ez-Zor provinces.
The strikes targeted ISIS and Al-Nusra Front outposts, destroying military equipment and arms depots. Earlier, Reuters published an article claiming Russian strikes had hit US-backed rebels in Deir ez-Zor province. However, the Russian Ministry of Defense has released satellite images showing US special forces, and their allies, camped inside former IS strongholds.
