Donald Trump’s expected to announce a new strategy on Iran this Friday, and all bets are on the President ripping up the ‘historic’ nuclear deal.
The deal was hammered out by the US, Russia, France, the UK, China, Germany and Iran back in 2015. It followed nine years of talks. Political scientist, Kaveh Afrasiabi, believes the nuclear deal was always at risk because Trump doesn’t understand Iran as a country. RT’s Ilya Petrenko reports.
