At least 13 vehicles were involved in a multiple-vehicle collision on the Yamuna Expressway due to thick smog in Greater Noida, some 30 km from New Delhi. Six people were reportedly injured in the pile-up.
Dense fog has been surrounding Delhi and its outskirts since Tuesday morning causing several car accidents. The Indian Medical Association has declared a public health emergency in Delhi and all primary schools have been closed as of Tuesday morning.
