Clashes erupted between police and a group of people on Place de la Monnaie in Brussels, Wednesday. Those gathered had arrived at the spot after rapper Vargasss 92 urged his fans to meet him at the square, where he allegedly planned to shoot an unauthorised video. Reportedly, police officers attempted to reach the rapper, upon which they came under a barrage of projectiles, prompting the intervention of riot police, which is when the riots kicked off.
