Bedazzling fireworks light up the sky over Al Marjan Island in Ras al-Khaimah on Sunday evening in celebration of the New Year.
As the clocks struck midnight, the Al-Marjan island resort in Ras Al Khaimah was lit up by incredible pyrotechnics.
2018 marks one hundred years since the birth of the UAE’s first president and founding father, Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
