Greek police disperse anti-austerity protesters ahead of new measures

Clashes erupted between protesters and police in front of the parliament in Athens, Friday, as demonstrators attempted to occupy steps leading to the building in opposition to a fresh raft of austerity measures due to be voted on next week. Police officers deployed tear gas in order to disperse the protesters and succeeded in pushing people back from the building.
