A British judge said Friday that she would rule over Julian Assange’s arrest warrant appeal early next month. WikiLeaks’ Assange could be free to walk out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London if his application to quash the arrest warrant for breach of bail conditions is successful, according to the British Prosecution Service.

Washington has accused Turkey of de-stabilizing northern Syria, after Ankara announced it’s extending its military operation closer to positions held by US troops in the region. Turkey’s operation began last week and is targeting Kurdish militias. Some of the groups are considered terrorists by Ankara – but allies by Washington.
