Immortality… An adventure that never fails to inspire and make people dream. The Avatar Project, also known as Initiative 2045, is a plan developed by the Russian billionaire Dimitry Itskov, with a clear goal: to reach the goal of human immortality by 2045.
The 2045 initiative came to public attention in March 2012, when Russian billionaire Dimitry Itskov presented it at the Global Future 2045 International Congress in Moscow. Months later, he again received media attention after the open letter addressed to members of the Forbes list, in which Itskov proposed to participate in the project. The majority reaction to the so-called 2045 initiative was disbelief, but also interest.
