Artificial Intelligence is already able to learn by itself: Should we worry?

The progress of artificial intelligence during the year has been incredible. We even witnessed the first appointment of an “android” turned into an official citizen. But would this be the right time to rethink Isaac Asimov’s theory? How will we teach them to have a morally acceptable ethic?

Scientists at the University of Osaka have created a new system that approves Artificial Intelligence to learn vocabulary in a dialogue established by tacit confirmation. This android is called “Sophie” and surprises how fast you learn. Its appearance is rather gloomy, as you can see the whole complex circuit that brings this machine. Furthermore, their facial features are very similar to humans, giving even more fear if possible.
