In the 70’s, in the north of Kosovo was created the artificial lake Gazivode. It has been used both for power generation and for supplying Kosovo cities.
While politicians from Belgrade and Pristina vie for ownership of the strategic site – the state or Kosovo separatists, Serbian scientists point out that the Gazivode hides in its depths the still unacknowledged traces of medieval Serbian culture.
