Thousands of people marched through Caracas on Tuesday to celebrate International Day of Workers and support Nicolas Maduro in upcoming presidential elections. The crater of Pu’u O’o volcano in Hawaii has partially collapsed prompting civil defense alerts of a coming lava flow potential on the flanks of the volcano.
A multiple week long earthquake swarm has taken place at Kilauea, along with a rise in the greater magma chambers levels spilling over the top of the crater a few days ago.
Today, the volcano next to Kilauea (Pu’u O’o’) partially collapsed.
A similar event occurred in Hawaii the week prior to Japan’s megaquake in March 2011, Pu’u O’o drained, followed 5-6 days later by the M9.0 in Japan.
