Doing painting in rice paddies has become a tradition in the northeast China city of Shenyang and it has attracted numerous visitors during the Duanwu Festival. The most astonishing artworks in the rice paddies this year is the portrait of ‘Thousand-Arm Avalokitesvara’. Equally attractive are a giant dragon and a portrait of Confucius.
