Zanu-PF presidential candidate Emmerson Mnangagwa has won the presidential elections beating MDC Alliance presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa and 21 other candidates.
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) announced Mnangagwa won by 50.8% compared to Chamisa’s 44.3%. Zanu-PF also attained a two-thirds majority in parliament after getting 145 seats compared to MDC Alliance’s 63.
MDC Alliance however disputes the results stating that they did not verify the results.
