Maria Butina, the gun activist who’s been charged with acting as an unregistered Russian agent in the US, has been transfered to another prison, without her lawyer’s knowledge.
Russian diplomats had compared Butina’s treatment in custody and the media hysteria around the case, to the witch trials of the 17th century.
