Over 30,000 Hasidic pilgrims celebrated Jewish New Year in Ukraine’s Uman

More than 30,000 Hasidic pilgrims celebrated the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah in the Ukrainian city of Uman on Monday. The city of Uman is a major pilgrimage site for Hasidic Judaism, since it hosts the burial site of the Nachman of Breslov, a major figure in the Hasidic revivalist movement.
