An old post from an Intel employee, seems to shine some light on the current world. The employee claims that the Intel ME, which is a separate chip on the motherboard and never turns off in hibernation, has backdoor placed inside it on purpose that enables “”certain parties”” to always have access to the computer system, thus bypassing the operating system completely. The ME chip is separate from the computers CPU and cannot be changed.
