A large sinkhole opened up in a road in the Italian town of San Felice Circeo on Sunday, swallowing up a car. It was caused by heavy rainfall in the region. Emergency services removed the car, which was empty at the time of recovery. Italian news agency Ansa reported that according to some witnesses a man was carried away by flood waters.
