At least 9 protesters were reportedly injured by Israeli fire during a protest at the northern border of the Gaza Strip on Monday. Protesters had gathered in support of the launch of a flotilla titled ‘Freedom Ship 18’ that set sail from the port of Gaza in an attempt to break the Israeli naval blockade of the Strip. Israeli border forces reportedly fired off live rounds, as well as rubber bullets and tear gas canisters as protesters hurled stones.
