A company in Beijing recently announced that its first batch of kitten clones will be ready by March of this 2019 and is looking for new customers. “It is unlikely that this project has great scientific interest, but we see great potential in it for the PCR cloning market.”
The Global Times interviewed Zhao Jianping, deputy general manager of the biotechnology company Sinogene, who is cloning cats after cloning dogs successfully (and profitably).
