Background:
Wuhan has been in the throes of a city-wide lockdown for 40 days. Local authorities continue to tighten preventative measures. Individuals are forbidden to go grocery shopping. Residents have to resort to online orders or form a social media group to order food together. Senior citizens who have no experience with online purchases are in deep despair.
An old couple committed suicide together by jumping out of their high-level unit on March 3. According to their neighbors, they lived alone. Their community never showed any concern for elderly residents needing help to get daily necessities after the lockdown.

There is even a suicide incident in our community! I guess they are elderly residents who do not live with their children, and no one offered them any help. The staff at our community office never checked with these elderly-only families to provide any help. So pitiable!
