Around the same time, most companies in Wuhan resumed operations. Many of them require employees to perform a medical exam before going back to work.

In a video taken in front of Wuhan’s Zhongnan Hospital on May 6, hundreds of people were seen lining up to take the diagnostic test for the CCP virus.

The trains in Wuhan were mostly empty last month. Now people seemed to have let down their guard. On May 8, many people took the metro to go to work. Although everyone was wearing a mask, it was impossible to maintain a safe distance between people.

Chinese netizens expressed their concerns that there are two major issues that pose serious health risks.

First, Chinese-made diagnostic kits were only 30-35% accurate. That means 65-70% asymptomatic patients will have a false negative test result, and they are free to move around.

Second, passengers are in close proximity in buses and trains. One of the netizens said, “How come the local authorities never thought about increasing the metro frequencies to help passengers maintain social distancing?”
