hulan city of Jilin province is becoming the new epicenter in China after 28 people tested positive for the CCP virus. The new cluster of infection was traced to a female laundry worker in the police department. The infected patients are linked to the police department, city government, and schools. The city is classified as “high-risk” for the CCP virus. Its Party Chief Li Pengfei was also removed from the post on May 15.

Following Shulan, the CCP virus outbreak spread to other areas and cities of Jilin province.
