The upper house of the Russian parliament has voted to adopt a law on foreign media operating in Russia.
Once signed by the president, the law will mean any media funded from abroad should be registered as a foreign agent in Russia, as well as use a special disclaimer and file financial reports.

Former Bosnian Serb general Ratko Mladic was removed from the courtroom during a reading of the final verdict at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia after an outburst against the judges of the tribunal.
The judges refused to adjourn the court on the demand of defence attorney Dragan Ivetic, who informed them of Mladic’s high blood pressure during the break.
The court sentenced the Serb to life in prison.
