This is unbelievable! It’s being reported in major media outlets that the press has had it wrong this entire time… It wasn’t then-FBI Director James Comey or then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s decision to not prosecute Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server. The decision was actually made by former President Barack Hussein Obama.

From the first, these columns have argued that the whitewash of the Hillary Clinton emails caper was President Barack Obama’s call — not the FBI’s, and not the Justice Department’s. The decision was inevitable. Obama, using a pseudonymous email account, had repeatedly communicated with Secretary Clinton over her private, non-secure email account.
If classified information was mishandled, it was necessarily mishandled on both ends of these email exchanges. If Clinton had been charged, Obama’s culpable involvement would have been patent. In any prosecution of Clinton, the Clinton–Obama emails would have been in the spotlight. For the prosecution, they would be more proof of willful (or, if you prefer, grossly negligent) mishandling of intelligence. More significantly, for Clinton’s defense, they would show that Obama was complicit in Clinton’s conduct yet faced no criminal charges.
The Clinton Foundation has been under investigation, and there has been pressure to re-open the Hillary Clinton email scandal as a result of it.
Well, you should not be disappointed, because lo and behold… it has just been reported that the FBI expects to be so busy with the newly released emails that they will need to hire more people!

Not-so-funny comedienne Kathy Griffin infamously killed her career last year with the now notorious photo of her posing like an Islamic terrorist holding a replica of President Donald Trump’s severed and bloody head. The fallout that ensued from that sickening attack on the president was so devastating to her that she has still never fully been able to regain her reputation. For someone whose work relies on being in the public’s good favor, she’s really felt the burn of that bad decision which seemed to only deepen her despise for the president.
Griffin has been desperate to get her career back on track ever since losing it all over a single picture that she should have thought twice about. Much of that effort has been in vain since she’s seeing that she’s been forgotten but what she did has not. Although she may have gotten another gig here or there, she’s pretty much realizing that her fate is probably sealed at this point and has nothing to lose with another stunt.
Evidently, she’s not giving up on getting her professional life back on track and as such is forcing herself into the White House perhaps in a desperation move for attention. Now that she’s no longer under investigation by the Secret Service for the apparent threat to the president’s life, she feels pretty comfortable about showing up at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and maybe having a chat with Trump himself.
She’ll also chum up to media correspondents who she probably hopes will help her get her reputation back in check. However, things are about to get really awkward since the president didn’t invite her. Griffin found her in on the coattails of a correspondent.
The annual dinner has been held since 1920 and traditionally is at least visited by the current president. Trump, who has an adversarial relationship with the press, did not attend in 2017 and may not this year. He did send a tweet stating, “Please wish everyone well and have a great evening” before the dinner last year.
Griffin apologized publicly when major backlash to her photo began last May, issuing a video in which she admitted, “I crossed the line.” But she later backtracked, telling an Australian TV interviewer that “I am no longer sorry. The whole outrage was B.S.”
With Griffin’s final sentiment on her issue with the president not being an apologetic one and Trump being a person that is equally unapologetic in things he rightfully says to his detractors, he’s likely to use the opportunity for a long overdue uncomfortable conversation. That is, if he actually chooses to attend the dinner, which he’s not required to do, especially since the media has not been kind to him in what they report about the president, despite his incredibly successful first year.
If Trump decides against attending it will be the perfect revenge on Griffin going who probably hopes to use the attention she gets from it to get some comedy gigs back. Afterall, this is the woman who threatened to sue Trump over her failed career, rather than taking responsibility for her disgusting choice to take that picture and pose a threat to the president. He didn’t tell her to do that and what came of it should serve as a lesson for others that they should respect the president or pay the price.
Now, today despite the left’s objections and constant annoying protests, Trump announced that construction would begin on the wall which has angered liberals across the nation.
Over this past weekend, there was a lot of commotion between the gun-grabbers protesting for stricter gun laws and liberal politicians pushing back against President Trump and his plans to secure our nation’s borders. Despite all the chaos and negative publicity, Trump kept his eye on the prize announcing that this week would be the week that construction on the wall would finally begin, and it is about time.
Now, last week it seemed that the dream for our southern border to be secured was not about to happen, but Trump is a man of his word. On Friday, President Trump tweeted that construction of his promised southern border wall would start “immediately” after signing the omnibus spending bill, which included $1.6 billion in funding for the wall.
“We’re going to be starting work literally on Monday,” President Trump said during a weekend event at the White House. “We have a lot of money coming to the border.”
‘President Trump hinted over the weekend that newly-approved funding for the military could be used for building the wall along the Mexican border. White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley said Monday he did not want to comment, citing a possible future announcement by the president on allocating the money.’
“I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded,” he wrote.
Days earlier, he tweeted a more supportive take on the funding, citing “$1.6 Billion to start Wall on Southern Border” and indicating that the “rest will be forthcoming.”
Trump heralded increased military spending in the bill as the main reason to support the measure.
In his comments Friday, however, he made it clear he was “not happy with the $1.6 billion for the wall.”
Trump went on to suggest that the earmarked spending will be used for the construction of “some new wall” in addition to “fixing existing walls and existing fences,” though the bill he signed into law reportedly precludes such construction. According to NBC News, wall construction received no funding in the omnibus bill.
As written, the money can be used to build and repair fencing that has already been approved and $38 million is set aside for preliminary work including wall design.
Trump called the funding an “initial down payment” on his campaign promise of building a wall along America’s southern border. During the 2016 presidential campaign, he frequently assured supporters that Mexico would foot the bill for its construction.
Earlier this year, he indicated that he still believes Mexico will “indirectly” pay for the wall through renegotiated trade agreements, as reported by CNBC.
“We make a good deal on NAFTA, and, say, I’m going to take a small percentage of that money and it’s going toward the wall,” he said. “Guess what? Mexico’s paying.”
During President Trump’s campaign, he promised Americans that he would begin construction on a “big beautiful wall” to keep a flood of illegals out of our country. Of course, the left started to throw one heck of a temper tantrum over the last year, doing their best to stop the construction of the wall claiming that it was racist and bigoted. So, for the last several months these liberal politicians have stood in the way of Trump securing our borders by blocking any potential budgets that would be used to build a southern wall, but that has not stopped our president.

The latest information coming from lawmakers in the know is that someone on the House Foreign Affairs Committee knows where the ever elusive White House leak is coming from. According to these reports, the number of people that it could be was just severely limited, because of the information that was leaked.
If this information is correct, it will mean some long-awaited pink slips are handed out, and possibly criminal charges. Thanks to what looks like a slip up on the part of the leaker, the Conservative Tribune reports that information given to The Washington Post puts the leaker in a tiny little circle that includes National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster:
“Word that Trump ignored the written advice of his national security advisers to congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his rigged election win during a phone call Tuesday had the nation’s capital in an uproar this week and had some top Republicans saying there is only a short list of possible sources for the leak.
And National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster is going to have a lot to answer for.
North Carolina Republican Rep. Mark Meadows, the chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, told reporters at a Heritage Foundation event on Wednesday that the leak ‘had to’ come from the White House national security team headed by McMaster, according to the Washington Examiner.
‘Here’s the big deal. If you’ve got the national security council team leaking to the press, that’s a big deal,’ he said at a ‘Conversations with Conservatives’ panel, the Examiner reported.
‘Quite frankly, some of the other stuff they’ve leaked is actually a crime,’ he added.
Among other lawmakers, the substance of the call was more important. Arizona Sen. John McCain, for instance, criticized the call as giving Putin’s re-election a democratic legitimacy that it didn’t deserve. But they’re missing the point.
Trump has been tougher on Russia than the doormat presidency of Barack Obama ever was, as Rep. Trey Gowdy pointed out on Fox News on Sunday. That doesn’t mean he can’t talk to the hard case in the Kremlin.
The White House has been in search of the leaks since the beginning of the Trump Administration. The prevailing theory at the beginning of 2017 is that there was more than one leak, and while some were stopped, there were still more to be found. However, this could be the most deadly one, if the leaker is really as close to the President as these facts lead us to believe.
Regardless of how a person feels about the current President, pretending to have his back while leaking to the press is something that comes with a heavy personal and criminal price. Time will tell if they’ll face real criminal charges, but it would certainly send a message to other potential defectors if they did. Thank God Trump chose John Bolton to replace McMaster. It’s said he’s planning on cleaning house & holding all leakers accountable.
This past week the Trump administration announced that they would be filing criminal charges and implementing sanctions against nine different Iranian individuals who are being accused of government-sponsored criminal hacking in a scheme to try and pilfer sensitive and classified information from over 100 American universities, government agencies, as well as private companies.
The hackers also are accused of breaking into the networks of dozens of government organizations, such as the Department of Labor, the United Nations and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and companies including law firms and biotechnology corporations. The Justice Department said the hackers were affiliated with an Iranian company called the Mabna Institute, which prosecutors say contracted since at least 2013 with the Iranian government to steal scientific research from other countries.
“By bringing these criminal charges, we reinforce the norm that most of the civilized world accepts: nation-states should not steal intellectual property for the purpose of giving domestic industries an advantage,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said in announcing the charges.Also Friday, the Treasury Department targeted the Mabna Institute and 10 Iranians — the nine defendants and one charged in a separate case last year — for sanctions that will bar them from doing business in the United States.”
Because there is no extradition treaty between Iran and the United States these individuals will likely never see American soil or an American courtroom. Despite the fact that the grand jury indictment was filed in federal court in Manhattan, New York City, New York. The purpose behind it though is the government attempt to publicly identify criminal foreign hackers and then prevent them from trying to enter the United States. Moreover, when they try to travel to countries that do have extradition treaties with the United States they are more likely to get these people because their name will be on the international register.
This strategy has also been used against Chinese military officials who have perpetrated large-scale hacks at energy companies as well as Russian operatives who have breached Yahoo accounts. FBI Deputy Director David Bowdich commented on it saying, “people travel. They take vacations, they make plans with their families. Having your name, face and description on a ‘wanted’ poster makes moving freely much more difficult.”
In the case of the Iranians, they were able to succeed at their hacking attempts by breaking into the accounts of professors at universities and sending them links that were compromised and getting them to click on them. These emails were high-level spam phishing attempts that appeared authentic at first glance but in reality, were compromised and put their servers at risk which the Iranians took advantage of.
Today on social media the president offered a new way of getting funding for the border wall which both Republicans and Democrats in Congress refuse to fund.
On Twitter, the president pointed out that the border wall is, in fact, a national security issue. It’s a threat to our jobs via low wage workers. A threat to our safety via enemy combatants and gang members coming in undetected, and a threat because of the drugs which are coming in through our now unsecured border.
And since the wall is a matter of security, Trump can allocate ALL of the money needed for the $18 billion border wall from military spending from the omnibus bill he just signed!
The bill itself does provide $1.6 billion for wall construction. But it severely limits the money to be used for shoring up parts of the existing barrier. And although it does provide funds for new fencing, it also explicitly prohibits a concrete barrier or construction of any type, including the prototypes President Trump considered during his trip to the California border last month. But Trump fooled Dems & got all of the money for the wall in the form of defense spending.
President Trump has done many great things since taking office. But perhaps the most important thing he has done is he has shown the American people how corrupt both political parties are. The Republicans own the house and senate and they still can’t manage to get done what the people elected President Trump to do. And sadly he can’t do it alone? Or can he?
It all started with the now disgraced CEO of GE Jack Welch. He started the offshoring boom to line his pockets and those of other large shareholders.
Other companies quickly followed suit. Our politicians were bought off and America plunged into a series of mini-recessions that some workers were never able to get out of.
Jack and the others who sold America out came up with ever desperate corporate double speak to try to hide what they were really doing.
Wall Street and the media elites ate it up and America was inundated with catchphrases to hide the lie.
But we weren’t stupid – we saw the only new jobs available at Burger King and watched in horror as they added insult to injury and started importing cheaper foreign workers they made us train.
Wealth inequality grew to dangerous levels (for a healthy democracy) and America became more 3rd world – the really rich and everyone else – than first world.
Then the greedy geniuses let China into the WTO. They saw more dollar signs they could skim from hiring basically slave labor in China.
Corporate profits took off while wages went south. The American worker never recovered.
But these morons also allowed China to blackmail them – access to slave labor for your intellectual property.
The clowns in charge didn’t see a problem with this and in a blink of an eye (18 years), China went from a backwater militarily and economically to a real rival to America’s leadership.
In the process, they saddled this country with trillions in debt while they laughed all the way to the bank. It was the single biggest mistake in the history of the world and thankfully Trump just ended it.
Instead of thanking him for saving America, Wall Street and the media elites are whining “the sky is falling… the sky is falling.”
The sky is not falling, this is not a catastrophe unless you are China or a greedy corporate CEO.
The Trump administration will impose about $60 billion in new trade penalties against China, the first targeted trade measures aimed directly at Chinese “economic aggression.”
“We have a tremendous intellectual property theft situation going on,” President Donald Trump said Thursday, revealing that he has spoken with Chinese leadership about this issue and the “out of control” trade deficit. The U.S. is preparing to take punitive action against China to the tune of tens of billions of dollars.
“This is just a fraction of what we’re talking about,” the president added, announcing that he has asked China to take steps to reduce the trade deficit by $100 billion or more. Trump said the U.S. is having “very large negotiations” with China on trade.
It’s about time.
America is officially back – the real America – not Wall Street and it’s glorious.
Political tensions with North Korea and the United States have been heating up for years. Discussions over whether nuclear war would eventually come were already taking place. Shortly thereafter, the Trump administration was able to make a deal with North Korea after the 2018 Winter Olympics whereby they agreed to sit down and discuss peace talks. Details regarding this meeting are beginning to emerge.
South Korea, a staunch and loyal ally of the United States, has been playing intermediary since the Winter Olympics where they agreed to have a one Korea team. Something that had not been done in decades. They recently made the United States aware that Kim Jong-un agreed to high-level discussions with South Korea in Panmunjom on March 29th. It is a small border village that provides intimacy and quiet in North Korea while straddling the Demilitarized Zone. The U.S. – North Korea talks are being finalized as well.
But, there are fears the talks could collapse following the US’ statement it would carry out intense military drills on Easter Sunday. Seoul and Washington said in January they would delay the annual exercises, known as Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, until after the Olympics and Paralympics held in South Korea. North Korea sees the drills as a rehearsal for invasion.”
The meeting between North and South Korea in March is expected to be followed by President Trump sitting down with North Korea shortly thereafter. If this were to occur President Trump would be the first American president to sit down with the leader of North Korea. Something which is very symbolic because North Korea and the United States are still technically at war because the 1950-1953 Korean War was ended in a truce but not a peace treaty.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in recently said the following regarding how important the venue is to their meeting,
‘The North Korea-United States summit, which will follow the inter-Korean summit, will itself be a momentous event in world history. Depending on where the meeting takes place, it will look even more dramatic, and depending on progress, there can be a three-way summit among South and North Korea and the United States.’
While South Korea has agreed to meet North Korea in Panmunjom the United States probably will not be. The town has a historical significance to the United States because North Korean soldiers murdered two U.S. Army officers in 1976 with axes. Discussions about talks taking place in Sweden and Switzerland have been rolling around but nothing has been confirmed.
United States officials have been reaching out to the North Koreans to hear directly from them about Mr. Kim’s invitation and learn more about his intentions, particularly since he was quoted by South Korean envoys as telling them he was interested in discussing denuclearizing his country.
Officials and analysts remain unsure whether Mr. Kim’s offer signals a fundamental shift toward dismantling his nuclear arsenal or represents a short-term ploy to confuse his enemies, ease sanctions and buy time to further advance his nuclear weapons and intercontinental ballistic missile programs.
The plan to hold summit meetings within just weeks of each other is presenting unprecedented challenges to diplomatic officials. The leaders would most likely face each other without first having lower-ranking officials work out nettlesome details of an ambitious agenda, particularly how to end the North’s nuclear weapons program.’
Regardless of how the meeting will actually take place, it is clear it will take place and both countries are stepping closer to actually making it come to fruition. Whether it is in North Korea or Europe, it will happen, but what comes about as a result of the meeting remains to be seen.
President Trump has now signed the $1.3 trillion omnibus spending bill despite an earlier Twitter threat to veto the legislation due to the lack of border wall funding and a fix for DACA. Trump signed this behemoth of a bill although he claimed he was reluctant to do so, adding that he was forced to do so in order to secure the increased funding for the military buildup which has been much needed since former President Barack Obama and a Republican Congress practically ignored for six years.
The President made clear this is not right and was a very bad deal for our country because of all the pet projects Democrats added as a condition to voting for this bill in the Senate. Trump stipulated that he signed it because it’s very important for us to build up our military in a world climate such as what we are living in.
The spending bill does allocate a total sum of $1.6 billion for border measures, much of which is for repairs to already existing fencing which is largely outdated and of questionable efficiency. It explicitly rules out any new prototypes of the kind President Trump viewed this month in Southern California.
This bill got money for the military while the Democrats got the funding for social services, funding for Planned Parenthood, and a free for all for Democrat legislators pet projects in order to secure their own reelection and pocketbooks.
President Trump was criticized as not having enough art in this deal, mocking the title of his previous book “The Art of the Deal.”
WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says shadowy figures connected to Her Majesty are “using dirty tricks in order to rig elections.”
Cambridge Analytica’s parent company Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL Group) has deep ties to the British Conservative Party, the military establishment, the House of Lords, defence contractors and the Royal family.
According to Assange, this company has engaged in a number of dirty tricks in order to rig elections at home and abroad.
“We finally have the most concrete evidence yet of shadowy actors using dirty tricks in order to rig elections. But these characters aren’t operating from Moscow… Instead, they are British, Eton educated, … and have close ties to Her Majesty…”
Cambridge Analytica is a mere offshoot of Strategic Communication Laboratories (SCL Group) – an organisation with its roots deeply embedded within the British political, military and royal establishment.
Indeed, as the Observer article which broke the scandal said “For all intents and purposes, SCL/Cambridge Analytica are one and the same.”
Like Cambridge Analytica, SCL group is behavioral research and strategic communication company.
In 2005, SCL went public with a glitzy exhibit at the DSEI conference, the UK’s largest showcase for military technology.
It’s ‘hard sell’ was a demonstration of how the UK government could use a sophisticated media campaign of mass deception to fool the British people into the thinking an accident at a chemical plant had occurred and threatened central London. Genuinely.
Board members include an array of Lords, Tory donors, ex-British army officers and defense contractors. This is scandal that cuts to the heart of the British establishment.
SCL Group says on its website that it provides “data, analytics and strategy to governments and military organizations worldwide.”
The organisation boasts that it has conducted “behavioral change programs” in over 60 countries and its clients have included the British Ministry of Defence, the US State Department and NATO.
A freedom of information request from August 2016, shows that the MOD has twice bought services from Strategic Communication Laboratories in recent years.
In 2010/11, the MOD paid £40,000 to SCL for the “provision of external training”. Meanwhile, in 2014/2015, it paid SCL £150,000 for the “procurement of target audience analysis”.
In addition, SCL also carries a secret clearance as a ‘list X’ contractor for the MOD. A List X site is a commercial site on British soil that is approved to hold UK government information marked as ‘confidential’ and above. Essentially, SCL got the green light to hold British government secrets on its premises.
Meanwhile, the US State Department has a contract for $500,000 with SLC. According to an official, this was to provide “research and analytical support in connection with our mission to counter terrorist propaganda and disinformation overseas.” This was not the only work that SCL has been contracted for with the US government, the source added.
In May 2015, SCL Defense, another subsidiary of the umbrella organisation, received $1 million (CAD) to support NATO operations in Eastern Europe targeting Russia.
The company delivered a three-month course in Riga which taught “advanced counter-propaganda techniques designed to help member states assess and counter Russia’s propaganda in Eastern Europe”.
The British military and royal establishment links to SCL are further highlighted through another director Rear Admiral John Tolhurst, a former assistant director of naval warfare in the Ministry of Defence and aide de camp to the Queen.
The Queen’s third cousin, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, was also sitting on SCL’s advisory board but it’s unclear if he still holds that role.
Instead, they are British, Eton educated, headquartered in the city of London and have close ties to Her Majesty’s government.
This week, Los Alamitos voted to reject California’s sanctuary law. Now, other cities are beginning to respond to the historic move, hitting Governor Jerry Brown with what some people are calling the worst news of his political career. It’s over for him.
The state of California shocked the nation when Governor Jerry Brown signed the sanctuary law. This piece of legislation forbids local law enforcement from helping federal authorities. It prevents police from handing over violent criminals to the federal government — all because they are illegal immigrants.
The leaders of California have declared that they care more about illegal aliens than American citizens, but not everyone in the state agrees. Los Alamitos voted this week to reject the law, citing that it violates their oath to uphold the U.S. Constitutional. All things considered, that’s a pretty good reason to reject a law.
The historic vote has people across the country talking. Many in California have formed their own opinions. The liberal media would have you believe that the rest of the state is outraged at Los Alamitos, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
As it turns out, numerous cities are considering opting out as well. In a very short order, we might have many regions in California that reject the sanctuary law.
They have put toxic policy ahead of the basic needs of their people. Their sanctuary law is the latest in a series of bad movies that put American citizens at risk. Meanwhile, the state still suffers from recent wildfires and mudslides. Experts predict another coming drought, but Brown is more concerned with putting criminal aliens back on the streets.
Los Alamitos, along with these other cities, do not want illegal aliens wreaking havoc in their communities. The list of other cities considering a similar vote is growing.
More will be added to the list in short order. While Jerry Brown and his cronies enjoy peace and safety in their gated mansions, the rest of the state suffers from unchecked illegal immigration. These cities and counties have seen the damage caused by drug cartels and criminals. To have their governor defy the federal government like this is an insult to every hard-working resident.
Of course, California’s Socialist regime isn’t taking this lying down. As usual, they cast conservatives who oppose them as racists.
Much like the boy who cried wolf, liberals constantly calling conservatives racist is getting tired and pointless. There are clear reasons why we cannot allow illegal immigration in our country. Democrats have zero excuses for defending criminal behavior. All they can do is throw insults.
Don’t be surprised to learn about more cities rejecting the sanctuary law. This will soon snowball across the state.

The country was in shock awe as the news of Andrew McCabe being fired filtered through the newsfeeds on social media this past Friday. Of course, the report took most everyone by surprise considering how close McCabe was set to retire in just a little over a day, but that was just the beginning of more astonishing facts yet to be discovered.
The left was almost giddy when the news of McCabe’s firing took place as they began to claim the reason he was fired was mired in vindictive motives by President Trump to stop the Russian collusion investigation. However, that could not be further from the truth as it was found that McCabe was under investigation even before Trump stepped foot into the White House. In fact, as it turns out The Office of Professional Ethics which is the FBI’s internal investigators had their eye on McCabe for a long time since he was responsible for a number of some scandals stemming back to the Obama administration.
Of course, the left does not want to believe that, but the facts do not lie as there is a paper trail proving that this corrupt former FBI director was in some dangerous hot water, and his time was finally up. To show that Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway The Federalist appeared on Fox News to make sure that the real story concerning McCabe and his firing was told, and you can be sure that the left would rather she kept her mouth shut.
Last Friday, just a mere 26 hours away from retirement, former FBI Director Andrew McCabe was fired prompting the left into a full meltdown. The liberal talking heads in the mainstream media immediately began to pontificate that the reason McCabe was fired was purely vindictive on President Trump’s part, but that hardly seems to be the case after what was just discovered that the corrupt former FBI director was hiding for more than a year which has Trump seeing red.
Former FBI director Andrew McCabe was fired from his position just 26 hours away from retirement.
The country was in shock awe as the news of Andrew McCabe being fired filtered through the newsfeeds on social media this past Friday.
McCabe’s firing came as the result of information gleaned by the Justice Department’s nonpartisan Inspector General. Michael Horowitz was appointed to that position by President Barack Obama and was confirmed by a Democratic Senate. Not only that, his discovery of McCabe’s apparent wrongdoing (unauthorized media leaking, about which McCabe later “lacked candor” with investigators) came in the context of a sprawling IG examination of the FBI’s handling of various Clinton-related scandals and investigations in the run-up to the 2016 election. That investigation was demanded by Democrats, who cheered its announcement (McCabe’s current lawyer even referred to the probe as “welcome news” in a Washington Post op/ed). Also, when did that soon-to-be-concluded investigation commence? Early January 2017, before Donald Trump, took office. To recap: McCabe’s fireable misconduct was unearthed by a Democrat-demanded inquiry that was launched during the Obama presidency, led by an Obama-appointed and Democrat-confirmed watchdog.
Last Friday evening, Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired McCabe on the recommendation of FBI disciplinary officials.
“Both the OIG and FBI OPR reports concluded that Mr. McCabe had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor − including under oath − on multiple occasions,” Sessions said in a statement.
According to The New York Times and Washington Post, Inspector General Michael Horowitz is set to accuse McCabe of not only leaking to the media but then misleading the Justice Department about it.
In all honesty, the left does not care about the facts of McCabe’s firing and would rather mislead the public to create more division in the country. However, thank goodness some people still have integrity in the journalistic world who are intent on bringing the truth of this matter to the American people despite who it offends.
