Starting on June 11, new CCP virus cases were confirmed in Beijing for three consecutive days. The official release of the nucleic acid test results from nearly 2,000 market workers shows that, at Xin Fa-Di Market in Fengtai District, 45 people tested positive for the virus using throat swabs.

On June 13, 11 communities were under lockdown, schools suspended, and six large wholesale markets were closed in Fengtai District.

In addition, the Health Commission of Liaoning Province claimed that there were two new asymptomatic patients tested on Friday who came in close contact with the confirmed cases in Beijing.

On June 13, Beijing officials confirmed a new addition of four new cases of the CCP virus. The nucleic acid tests were performed on 1,940 market workers and 517 of the samples collected at Xin Fa-Di Market. 45 people were tested positive on throat swabs.

Also, there is one positive case of the virus at the Farmers’ Market in Haidian District and that person came in close contact with a person at Xin Fa-Di Market.

Ms. Wang, a resident in Beijing, said: “I live in Fengtai District and this CCP virus has made everyone scared as hell. The city was down to level three earlier but now there are positive cases in Beijing. Now they are checking everyone in my community, they check your resident permit and they don’t allow non-residents to come in.”

On June 12, officials in Beijing confirmed two new positive cases of the CCP virus and these two cases are both employees from the China Roulei Food Comprehensive Research Center. Liu, an employee and one of the positive cases, went to conduct food inspecting sampling at numerous wholesale markets in Shandong and Qingdao from Beijing on May 29 and returned to Beijing on June 2. From June 3 to the 8th, he visited six large wholesale markets to conduct the same inspection samplings on food. On June 9, he started to feel unwell.

Mr. Song from Beijing said: “The confirmed case from Beijing went to the Farmers’ Market here in Pinggu District which closed and locked down temporarily. The market was closed for a long period of time during the epidemic but reopened about a month ago. Now this time the market is closed again because it is said that the confirmed case came in close contact with many people while in the market.”

On the afternoon of June 12, many businesses were closed temporarily in the Farmers’ Market and on June 11, a person tested positive for the virus from Xicheng District who had visited Xin Fa-Di Market several times. On June 13, a group of armed officers were deployed to lock down the market, and the adjacent communities were locked down as well, with ambulances coming and leaving.

Resident Mr. Liu from Beijing said: “Schools were supposed to resume, but now it has to be postponed for a while in a situation like this.”

After consecutive cases have been confirmed, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission announced on June 12 that it would suspend the resuming classes for first, second, and third graders in elementary schools on June 15, and suspend the resumption of offline classes and group activities by off-campus training organizations.

Since the Chinese Communist Party’s Premier Li Keqiang praised the “peddler economy” in China’s Chengdu City during the CCP’s “Two Sessions” political meeting, state-run media have been reporting a lot on how to make money. One of the ways to make money, according to the reports, is by setting up street stalls for several days. The reports said that urban management officials had been inviting stall owners to set up their stalls. But after only two weeks of hype, the government suddenly reversed its policies, and urban management officials began to disperse street vendors again, sometimes in violence.

The news of 22 Chinese students from the U.S. becoming stranded at Zurich Airport on their way back to China has drawn public attention. The students bought expensive tickets to return to China, but were told they could not board the plane while transferring in Switzerland.

China’s Civil Aviation Administration announced a “Five-One” policy on March 29, which means, in each foreign country, each existing Chinese airline is to operate only one route, and no more than one flight per week. The airfares have also skyrocketed as a result. Many overseas Chinese who wish or have to return to China find themselves in a hopeless situation.

The 22 students planned to travel from major cities in the U.S. to New York, and from there fly to Switzerland on Swissair, then transfer to Singapore and fly back to China via Xiamen Airlines to the Singapore Changi Airport.

The students arrived at Zurich Airport from New York on the afternoon of Jun. 2 on Swissair flight LX0015, but were told they could not board their next flight as they were preparing to transfer to Singapore. As of Jun. 3, some of the students had been deported back to the U.S., while six were still stranded at Zurich Airport because their visas had expired.

A female student at the Swiss airport described to The Epoch Times what had happened to her over the past few days. The students found out at the airport that flight LX196 was bound for Beijing on Jun. 3, but the Chinese Communist Party’s embassy told them it was a “cargo plane.” Arriving at the gate half-hour before the flight took off, the students saw more than a dozen Swiss embassy personnel boarding the plane and could only watch it take off. So far, officials at the CCP embassy have offered no plans to repatriate the students, only to urging them to return to the U.S.

A planned state visit to Japan by Chinese communist party leader Xi Jinping seems to have been postponed indefinitely. But a number of Japanese citizens said in a recent television interview they see no need at all for Xi’s visit because recent incidents have exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s true nature and lack of trustworthiness.

Xi’s visit to Japan, originally planned for early April, has been postponed due to the CCP virus pandemic. It is unlikely that Xi’s plan to visit Japan will be resumed within the year, although the Japanese government has not explicitly withdrawn the invitation for Xi’s visit.

However, several Japanese interviewed by NTD said they objected to Xi’s visit, citing Beijing’s oppression of information about the CCP virus, interference in Hong Kong’s affairs, aggression in the South China Sea, and human rights violations and oppression of ethnic and religious minorities.

Japanese citizen: “The evil deeds the CCP has committed, for example, organ harvesting, its cruelty is beyond imagination. And although the purpose of the talks with Japan is unclear, Japan doesn’t need them, and they are not welcomed.”

Japanese citizen: “Japanese taxes cannot be used in this way, I strongly object.”

Japanese citizen: “I absolutely object. The problem in Hong Kong, the so-called ‘One Country, Two Systems’, has slowly revealed its true nature.”

For the past 53 days, the Senkaku Islands have been invaded by Chinese ships every day.
“I hope the postponed visit by Xi Jinping to Japan will be directly canceled, because the CCP has done too many things that I cannot agree with,” another Japanese citizen said.

Hidetoshi Ishi, an International Strategist and Vice President of the Free Indo-Pacific Alliance, said: “Now, as the CCP virus spreads, the CCP has suppressed the truth about it. The communist regime is not trustworthy. Even ordinary Japanese people who do not care about politics have reached this broad consensus.”

Recently, the European Union publicly accused Russia and China of spreading disinformation to affect democracy during the pandemic. Many European countries also disapprove of the way the Chinese Communist Party suppresses Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Austrian media warned that Beijing’s power to suppress freedom in Hong Kong and Taiwan will be used in the same way to affect the entire world in the future.

Vice President of the European Commission for Values and Transparency, Vera Jourova, and the High Representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell, conducted a joint video press conference on June 10 publicly accusing Russia and China of spreading false information during the pandemic.

Josep Borrell said: “The coronavirus pandemic has been accompanied by a massive information pandemic. We have witnessed a wave of false and misleading information, and conspiracy theories, as well as targeted influence operations by foreign actors. Some of this is aimed at harming European Union and its member states.”

Vera Jourova continued saying: “As for the foreign actors and foreign forces, we are clearly mentioning Russia and China, and we have sufficient evidence to do such a declaration, it’s very well evidence-based.”

On June 10, the European Union released a new strategic document in which it accused Beijing and Moscow of targeting the EU, the adjacent area, and even the entire world to spread disinformation and propaganda to influence actions.

Virginie Battu-Henriksson, the spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy for the ‎European Commission, expressed her dissatisfaction with the CCP’s selective reporting in an interview with South China Morning Post. She said that Chinese officials keep propagating that “China and Europe are not systemic rivals, but comprehensive strategic partners”, but that the EU formulated a policy last year that described the CCP as a “systemic rivalry”.

Current affairs commentator residing in the U.S., Xing Tian-Xing, explained that the CCP virus pandemic, the coverup of the virus, and Mask Diplomacy and Wolf Diplomacy completely changed the EU’s perspective on the Chinese Communist Party.

She said: “The EU’s overall understanding of the CCP has aligned with the Trump administration’s earlier understanding. We can see that, in the future, the EU, the U.S., and the Five Eyes will form an even closer tie. A man’s plan is not as good as God’s plan when the CCP has done everything in its power, it actually fastens its own isolation and destruction.”

For the same reason, the CCP’s investment activities in Eastern Europe are becoming sensitive and unwelcoming. Romania announced at the end of May that Nuclearelectrica, the state-owned company, has to halt its agreement with China General Nuclear Power Group (CGNPG) to build a nuclear power plant and that it would find a new partner for the project.

Prime Minister of Romania, Ludovic Orban, also expressed that it is impossible to continue to cooperate with the CCP. This is the biggest setback to the “Belt and Road Initiative” in Eastern Europe.

Another important project of the Belt and Road Initiative in Eastern Europe is the investment in Klaipėda Port in Lithuania, where the Baltic Sea meets the Danė River. Beijing wanted to invest heavily in the transformation of the port but this plan was unsuccessful. Since last year, countries around the Baltic Sea have named China and Russia as the main threats in national security reports.

Besides the pandemic, the CCP’s constant and intensifying suppression of Hong Kong and Taiwan has also triggered disapproval from European countries.

Han Kuo-yu is the first Taiwan mayor ever removed from office. Some netizens prepared a short film showing how Han dishonored his promises, as well as his various misstatements, and more importantly, his close relationship with the CCP.

Why did Kaohsiung citizens vote to oust Han in 2020? In November 2018, Han was elected as the mayor of Kaohsiung, the third largest city in Taiwan; but started a campaign for president less than five months later. He also made a lot of misstatements, making him a controversial figure. It was revealed in 2019 that Han was part of the Ph.D. program of Government and Management at Peking University in China from 2001 to 2009. Thus, he is basically an agent trained by the CCP. Although Han Kuo-Yu denies it, his relationship with the CCP has always been in question.

In a press conference with reporters on November 27, 2019.
A reporter asked: “Do you think the CCP has intervened in Taiwan’s elections? Will you call on the CCP to not interfere with Taiwan’s election?”
Han replied: “When I was listening to you, my right ear was ringing. Now I have to listen with my left ear, which media are you with? Report your media name first.”

A reporter asked: “ Hong Kong people are marching through Hong Kong today, protesting the Hong Kong government’s amendment to the Extradition Bill.”
Han replied: “I don’t know, I don’t know about that.”

On June 17th, 2019.
A reporter mentioned: “Millions of Hong Kong people protested on the streets yesterday.”
Han then responded: “ Oh, okay, thank you, thank you.”

Han has avoided talking about the CCP and the Hong Kong people protesting the extradition bill. In March 2019, Han visited the CCP Liaison Office in Hong Kong without a public announcement, which triggered a national uproar. He still has not explained the purpose of his visit. The overwhelming public resentment and his vague relationship with the CCP set off a wave of movements to recall him.
Three times, Han filed appeals with the Taipei High Administrative Court to suspend the recall vote. Each was rejected.

Some netizens prepared a three-minute film showing how Han has not met his promises since he was elected, as well as various misstatements and misbehaviors he made, which almost explain why Kaohsiung people wanted Han removed from office. Video clip: “Car racing, horse racing, Disney, casino, Ferris wheel, spokesman, a city that gives citizens a lot of hope. This is Kaohsiung.” Tallying the promises made by the Kaohsiung Mayor, Han Kuo-Yu, very few were achieved. As soon as he was elected as mayor, he rushed to become a presidential candidate. The recall movement supporters see Han as totally lacking integrity.

Current affairs commentator Wen Long-dong said: “Kaohsiung people don’t want a mayor whose actions don’t match his fancy words; plus, he is pro-China (CCP).” Hsu Yung-ming, Chairman of the New Power Party, said: “I think Han Kuo-yu better clarify his relationship with China (CCP) before the recall vote, and apologize to the public for visiting the (Hong Kong) Liaison Office.”

On June 6, the recall vote day, the number of votes in favor of Han Kuo-yu’s recall exceeded the minimum threshold of 574,996. Under Taiwanese law, the recall of a municipal leader requires a turnout of at least 25 percent of eligible voters — 574,996 in this case — and a majority vote in favor of the recall.
Han Kuo-yu held a press conference and talked about his gratitude, regrets, and blessings, but didn’t apologize and didn’t accept any interviews.

Han Kuo-yu said: “If led in a good direction, this city will shine. I look forward to the next mayor, who will also enable Kaohsiung’s municipal administration to prosper, and let Kaohsiung citizens live in peace and happiness.”

A man angered by a judiciary judgment in China took out his anger at the judge’s sentencing by smearing black paint on the front gate and pillars of Mianyang Intermediate Court on June 8.

While a year has passed since Hong Kong’s anti-extradition campaign, the CCP is speeding up its push for the Hong Kong National Security Law. Meanwhile, the President of Taiwan, Tsai Ing-Wen, has proposed a “Hong Kong Humanitarian Assistance Action Plan”, coordinated by Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs Council. Media sources reported that the proposal has been sent to the Executive Yuan, and an announcement is expected to be made on Thursday after its approval by the Executive Yuan.

Facing the draconian national security laws, the people of Hong Kong continue to protest on the streets. Taiwan has been planning a rescue plan for Hong Kongers, which is said to be announced this Thursday. According to media reports, the “Hong Kong Humanitarian Assistance Action Plan” will be implemented by the Taiwan-Hong Kong Economic and Cultural Co-operation Council. This year’s budget will be paid for by the Mainland Affairs Council’s emergency relief expenses, and next year’s budget will be officially included in the Mainland Affairs Council’s budget, which is reportedly expected to triple the size of this year’s budget.

The housing services are in two types, “self-housing” and “group-housing”. The care services include providing basic living, psychological counseling, medical insurance, as well as schooling and employment assistance if granted permission to stay.

Citizen Front Taiwan Spokesperson, Chiang Min-Yen said: “Young people want to leave Hong Kong not because they want to give up Hong Kong, but because they would be the first ones to be targeted against or even purged after the Hong Kong National Security Law comes into effect. I hope that moving on with the project will be the formation of a supervisory committee made up of citizens and the government, that can ensure the project’s long-term viability.”

The “Hong Kong Humanitarian Assistance Action Plan” has a two-month notice period for implementing the rules, but the plan will be implemented after the Executive Yuan approves of it on Thursday, which would apply to Hong Kongers who are currently applying for political asylum but have not yet passed the screening process.

After Wuhan, Mudanjiang has become the second Chinese city to conduct mass nucleic acid screening.
