In the early morning of August 18, heavy floods submerged places such as Xiaoguzen and Tieluxiang in Qianwei County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. Many villages located along the Min River were all covered in water, causing great losses. The flood even swept away some villagers who were sleeping, and some drowned. In Bayi Village, Xiaoguzen, a total of 14 families were swept away and houses collapsed. Villagers criticized the discharge of water upstream without any warning.

A video posted by netizens showed that after the floods, the situation in Bayi Village, Xiaoguzen, was in a mess, with rubbles and mud. The person who filmed the video said that 14 families in the village were all gone and their houses could not even be found. Xiaogu Middle School was also destroyed by the flood.

However, the official data claimed that from August 10 to 18, there were only 14 people who died and went missing after two rounds of heavy torrential rain hit Sichuan. Villagers from Bayi Village, Xiaoguzen, indicated that the local government concealed the actual death tolls and that he knew other people, including a person from another province, who drowned in a basement.

It’s been two months since the heavy floods covered many places in China. Recently, Sichuan Province experienced a great disaster. Since August 17, the highest level of flood emergency response has been activated for the first time in Sichuan’s history. Many rivers in the province had water levels rise rapidly. On August 18, Leshan City and other parts of the city experienced a once-in-a-century flood. On August 21, a landslide occurred in Hanyuan County, Ya’an City, Sichuan Province, burying about ten families. The local villagers filmed a video showing a hospital in the village covered in a mudslide. It is very possible that people were buried inside.

Gas leak from a chemical plant occurred in Wutongqiao district of Leshan, Sichuan province, southwestern China. The entire district was enveloped in thick fog emitting pungent odors. The panicked residents quickly evacuated.

Residents told The Epoch Times that the outgoing traffic was almost paralyzed. Despite many vehicles running into accidents, drivers continued on the road as fast as they could. Some store owners left in such a hurry that they didn’t even have time to close the doors.

A 33-year-old Hong Kong man became the world’s first confirmed COVID-19 patient to be reinfected with a mutated strain of the CCP virus. Researchers said the finding could carry significant implications for survivors of the respiratory disease.

On August 15, the patient, an IT professional with no underlying health conditions, tested positive a second time for the virus during an entry screening at the Hong Kong airport following a trip to Spain and the U.K. He has remained asymptomatic throughout the second infection.

After a genetic analysis, the researchers found at least 24 differences between the genomes of two strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (the scientific name for the novel coronavirus), suggesting that patients who recover from COVID-19 remain vulnerable.

The findings serve as a reminder that immunity after recovery and virus vaccination cannot permanently shield one from the virus’s harm. The virus is likely here to stay, similar to the common cold, and recovered patients should still observe health guidelines, such as wearing a mask, following social distancing rules, and considering vaccination options.

Viruses frequently undergo genetic mutation as they replicate and adapt to the host environment, which can make the pathogen either more or less dangerous.

Heavy rain has been pounding Sichuan Province recently. A landslide in Hanyuan County, Ya ‘a City, killed seven people and left two others missing in the early hours of Aug. 21. Local villagers said officials announced the evacuation too late. Ten families were buried in the landslide, and the government hasn’t been able to arrange accommodation for the evacuees, leaving them to find their own hotels.

On August 18, Chinese state-run media reported that state-owned China National Pharmaceutical Group has successfully developed a CCP virus vaccine that is expected to be introduced in the market by the end of December this year and the annual production of the vaccine will be more than 200 million doses. The state-run media also said that in May, the CCP had begun vaccinating more than 2,000 people even before the third phase of clinical trial was complete.

On August 14, a Chinese newspaper, 21st Century Business Herald, quoted a salesperson of a company that many employees at his company have received the vaccine and have all signed the “confidentiality agreement”. The fee for the vaccine, 1,000 yuan ($144.50 USD), was paid by the company.

Former virologist at the U.S. Army Research Institute, Dr. Sean Lin, gave his analysis. He said that usually there are three phases of clinical trials for drugs. Phase One and Two only test the basic safety of the drug and the presence of basic immunogenicity. Whether a particular vaccine is protective enough to withstand the challenge of a live virus will have to be determined in a Phase 3 trial.

In regards to the CCP’s “confidentiality agreement” signed by vaccinationists, Tang Jingyuan indicated that the purpose is to cover up the real situation about this vaccine, including the detailed situation of the vaccination, the toxic side effects, the situation of the antibodies produced in the vaccinationists, and the duration of the antibodies.

Tang Jingyuan, a commentator on current affairs residing in the U.S., said: “The CCP forced them to sign the confidentiality agreement to, in fact, prevent the exposure of scandals if this vaccine did not work. This would be a serious blow to the credibility of CCP’s vaccines. Actually, this vaccine is the only resource to save the CCP from being politically isolated, so the CCP must win in this vaccine case.”

In order to bribe countries that have favorable strategic interests and to improve its global stance, the CCP is using the vaccine as a diplomatic tool. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China promised to give early access and priority of the vaccine to the Philippines, Brazil, Indonesia, and Pakistan. These countries will receive more than 100 million doses of the vaccine. It also promised Morocco and Kenya that as soon as the vaccine is put to use, the CCP is willing to take the lead to benefit African countries and support them in the fight against the plague.

Tang Jingyuan pointed out that these countries are, in fact, critical to CCP’s diplomacy and are so important that the CCP must win them over. The real purpose of giving away the vaccine is not to save the lives of the people in those countries, but to bribe these countries so that the CCP can eventually control them. He believes that the CCP’s eagerness for success and its failure to value life may backfire in the end, making the vaccine it developed lose credibility, just like how its exported personal protective equipment and materials lost credibility, and eventually the vaccine diplomacy it once relied on became a failure.

On August 11, Xie Yang, a lawyer who was arrested and tortured in the 709 crackdown—a nationwide crackdown on Chinese lawyers and human rights activists in 2015—had his lawyer’s license revoked illegally by Hunan Provincial Department of Justice. On August 15, Hunan Lawyer Association also cancelled his membership. At the same time, Xie Yang received threats and intimidation from the local authorities, demanding him not to defend sensitive cases and accept interviews from overseas media. He was threatened with more severe criminal charges if he did not abide by the rules.

Since Xie Yang started to work as a lawyer in 2011, he represented a large number of human rights cases and Falun Gong cases, and was also concerned about human rights campaigns. He was suppressed by the government because of this. He was arrested on July 11 during the 709 crackdown.

In January 2017, Xie Yang’s defense attorney, Chen Jiangang, published a “Transcript of the meeting with Xie Yang” disclosing the torture Xie received during his detention. In May of the same year, Xie Yang was bailed out. On December 26, 2017, Xie Yang was formally sentenced by the Changsha People’s Intermediate Court for the so-called “crime of inciting subversion of state power” and was exempted from criminal punishment.

Xie Yang continued saying: “After I got out, I represented many cases that they believe are sensitive. They have also threatened and intimidated me through various means not to represent any more cases and not to accept interviews from foreign media during the process of handling the case. Through various means, they said that if I continued to expose their illegal and criminal actions, they would press more severe criminal charges against me.”

Xie Yang believes that in the past, the CCP was more afraid to cross the line because the international community, the United Nation, and foreign media were highly concerned about the suppression of human rights lawyers in China. But since the current relations between China and the U.S. and other western countries are tense, the CCP does not care as much about the solidarity he received from international human rights organizations, so he’s expecting to suffer more.

Chinese state media has voiced support for a Biden presidency, saying Joe Biden would be “smoother” for the regime to deal with than President Donald Trump.

On August 19, state-run outlet Global Times ran a piece citing Chinese analysts, who said that if Biden won the election, the United States is likely to remain tough on China.

The article came in the midst of the Democratic national convention, where Biden formally accepted his nomination to be the party’s presidential candidate. Both Biden and Trump run on the platform of being tough on the Chinese regime.

On August 20, in his speech accepting the Democratic nomination, Biden only mentioned China once when he pledged to end the United States’ reliance on the country for medical supplies if he is elected, and instead focused on Trump’s alleged failings in handling the pandemic and smoothing the divisions in the country.

On August 19, White House trade advisor Peter Navarro criticized the Democratic convention for not mentioning the Chinese regime’s role in causing the pandemic.

Earlier this month, a U.S. intelligence agency said that the regime would prefer Biden to win the election.

The Trump administration in recent months has accelerated actions countering a range of threats posed by the regime, including its rights abuses in Hong Kong and the region of Xinjiang, security risks posed by Chinese apps and technology, and its military aggression in the South China Sea.

Meanwhile, Chinese state media has ratcheted up its rhetoric against the United States amid the deteriorating relations. State media has recently promoted the idea of war, while central authorities directed television stations to run war movies to foment nationalist sentiment.

Recently, Chinese authorities across several provinces and cities rolled out programs to reward citizens with up to 100,000 yuan (approximately $14,300) for reporting Falun Gong adherents’ activities to local police. Some governments said the program is in effect for three years.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a mind and body cultivation practice with moral teachings centered on truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. In July 1999, as the number of adherents reached about 100 million, the communist regime deemed its popularity a threat to its rule and launched a sprawling persecution campaign. Hundreds of thousands of adherents have since been arrested, detained, and tortured within China’s jails and prisons.

Early in the persecution, authorities incentivize ordinary citizens and officials alike to take part in the persecution by rewarding them for collecting intelligence on adherents and arresting them.

The Epoch Times obtained the latest government documents that show such practices continue unabated.

In one document, authorities said the general public can report “evidence” such as banners, slogans, flyers, USB flash drives, and CDs related to Falun Gong.

Since the Chinese regime’s suppression, many Falun Gong adherents have created and distributed materials—such as flyers, pictures, slogans, books, and CDs—to raise awareness about the persecution.

The orders come from the Political and Legal Affairs Commission (PLAC), a Party agency that oversees the country’s security apparatus, including courts, police, and prisons; local police departments; and the 610 Office, an extralegal agency established in 1999 expressly to carry out the Falun Gong persecution.

According to statistics from Minghui.org, which serves as a clearinghouse on information about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, in the first half of 2020, Chinese police arrested and harassed at least 5,313 Falun Gong practitioners in 238 cities across 28 provinces, regions, and municipalities in the country. Due to the Chinese regime’s information blockade, the true numbers may be much higher.

U.S. think tank Heritage Foundation is calling on the Trump administration to impose sanctions on Chinese drone maker DJI because the data it collects could fall into the hands of the Chinese regime.

On August 19, a report was published indicating the data collected by Chinese drones flown in the country would include precise location of critical infrastructure and sensitive information, including locations of civic leaders, their movements, and interactions.

Report co-author Lora Ries, a senior research fellow at the think tank, told The Epoch Times: “Due to Chinese laws, Chinese corporations are unable to deny data requests from the Chinese government. Given the data that is collected, the risk is that such information is going back to Beijing.”

The Heritage Foundation called on DJI to be placed on the “Entity List” due to security vulnerabilities in its products that harvest user data, as well as DJI’s involvement in the persecution of Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang. The “Entity List” is a U.S. trade blacklist that bars American companies from doing business with them, unless they obtain special licenses.

Drones made by DJI, a private company headquartered in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen and the world’s biggest maker of commercial drones, are extremely popular in the United States.

Many of these drones are used by U.S. government agencies. In August 2017, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued a warning in an unclassified bulletin, saying that DJI was “providing U.S. critical infrastructure and law enforcement data to the Chinese government.” In May 2019, DHS issued a similar warning again.

In July, the Paris-based IT security firm Synacktiv issued a report in which the app was found to collect a vast amount of personal user data, including the serial number of the phone’s SIM card, the phone’s identity number IMEI, and the phone’s IMSI, a unique number that telecoms companies use to identify a SIM.

The Washington-based cybersecurity company River Loop Security, reviewed another DJI app called DJI Mimo. DJI Mimo allows users to edit their photos and videos captured on cameras attached to DJI drones. In a report issued in May, River Loop found that the app sent data via insecure means to servers located in China, without user consent.

What’s more, River Loop found that the app’s terms of use agreement allowed DJI to share user data with the Chinese regime. When installed, the DJI Mimo app requests users to give access to much of the phone’s data, such as location, SMS messages, and WiFi state.

Referring to the two reports by Synacktiv and River Loop, the Heritage Foundation concluded: “Those findings should worry any company or government agency using DJI technology, as well as policymakers working to secure critical infrastructure.”

Chongqing City suffered the biggest flood in 40 years.

On August 20, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang inspected the disaster-stricken area in Chongqing. It was reported that at least 11 Chongqing activists had been arrested, with their personal freedom restricted. Many activists had been missing.

Around noon on August 20, Chongqing human rights activists were stopped by a group of people on Huangzhu Road in Liangjiang New District. They were forcefully escorted into a car and taken to the Dazhulin Police Station of the Public Security Bureau in Liangjiang New District. Shortly after, they were picked up and detained police from their resident districts. Chen Mingyu said that he was still under surveillance after returning home, and someone followed him when he went out.

According to a rights activist in Chongqing, the whole village of Shuangba in Tongnan District that Li Keqiang inspected was entirely flooded. The water depth is at least one or two meters high and the loss is huge. Villagers’ lives must be very difficult. It was questioned if the victims in the video were arranged in advance.

The premier of the State Council of China, Li Keqiang, made an inspection visit to Chongqing, where severe floods were experienced, but state-run media was low-key when reporting it. This sparkled concerns. In addition, it is suspected that the “victims” who met with Li Keqiang were said to be pre-arranged actors.

In the morning of August 20, Li Keqiang flew to Chongqing to inspect Shuangba Village in Tongnan District, Chongqing, where flooding was severe. But this news was nowhere to be seen on state-run media.

On that day, the largest portion of the front page of People’s Daily was dedicated to the news about Xi Jinping, whereas Li Keqiang, the newspaper only reported on his presentation of letters of appointment to newly-appointed counsellor for the Counsellor’s Office of the State Council and to the employees of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History. On August 21, the front page still reported Li’s signing of the order of the State Council, announcing “Predetermined Methodology Implementation Regulations”.

A former government official in the CCP, Mr. Li introduced the regulation of state-run media reporting. He said: “There is a requirement in national reporting. Who is being reported the most? Right now they are required to report on the boss, not the second boss. The boss is reported with ten words, the second boss is reported with only five words. This is set and is necessary for politics.”

Netizens discovered that during Xi Jinping’s inspection in Anhui, the so-called “victim” from the disaster who had a chat with Xi was disguised by a female police officer from the local police station. It is also suspected that “temporary actors” were pre-arranged in Li Keqiang’s inspection.

Mr. Li continued saying: “If this is not a formality but a real inspection that was reported honestly, how could they not have any problems or difficulty? This is already set as ‘natural disaster’ and ‘no difficulty, no problem’. The tone is set like this to be propagated. So why do you not unify the tone when it comes to the epidemic? You know that every single word is only announced after approvals from each level.”

Shuangba Village, where Li Keqiang inspected, is located along Fu River. More than 8,000 villagers were impacted by the flood. The level of water accumulated in the house was higher than the height of a person. All farms and vegetables were destroyed. Moreover, at least 11 human rights activists were arrested in Chongqing due to Li’s visit.

On January 27, when the plague was extremely severe, the same situation happened when Li Keqiang went to inspect the epicenter of the CCP virus.
He asked the crowd: “Any difficulty?”
The crowd responded: “Not at all!”

Mr. Li, who is familiar with the internal operation of the CCP, said that these news reports are basically shows and can’t truly resolve people’s problems. Therefore, whoever has more coverage and whoever has less coverage is, in the end is just a formality.

Amid a severe food crisis, Xi Jinping called for strict legislation to stop food waste. The National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration also announced an annual decrease of 9.388 million tons in wheat acquisition. However, on August 19, the National Bureau of Statistics of China published statistics claiming that this year’s rice production increased by 1.028 million tons in comparison to last year. This aroused public criticism.

On August 19, the National Bureau of Statistics of China released the early rice production data for 2020, claiming that the total production was 27.29 million tons this year, with an increase of 1.028 million tons. This represented a growth of 3.9 percent, reversing the situation of seven consecutive years of decline. Nevertheless, an agricultural researcher in Jiangxi, who did not wish to reveal his name, questioned the validity of the data. He asked how the production of crops increased when China has been suffering from the plague, heavy floods, and locust outbreaks continuously this year?

Jiangxi expressed that they never believe in the official statistics and only believe in what they see. For instance, the local flour factory used to have hundreds of trucks delivering wheat, but not anymore.

On the same day when the National Bureau of Statistics announced an increase in rice, the CCP authorities released information about food shortage. In an online video conference held on August 19, Hu Chunhua, the vice premier of China, called for a rapid organization of farmers to strengthen the recovery of agricultural production after disasters. He called to strengthen the prevention and control of pests and diseases such as moths and to closely monitor meteorological disasters such as typhoons, floods, and droughts.

Mr. Li from Henan indicated that the government deceives everything, hurting the people. When people are out of food, all measures of maintaining stability of the government will become ineffective. However, even as the food crisis threatens China, the CCP is still giving away large amounts of food. A Twitter account, DynastyEndChaos, posted a video where the CCP assisted Africa with 30,000 tons of rice which was packed onto a ship on August 18.

In addition China News reported that on August 13, the government of Inner Mongolia donated 163 tons of rice to Russia. Chinese independent scholar, Ge Bidong, pointed out that this is exactly like the time of Mao Zedong. In the previous century, during the Great Leap Forward, the CCP’s political movements created a great famine that caused the death of tens of millions of peasants. When these peasants were dying from hunger, the CCP went so far as to snatch food from the starving people and give it to third-world countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America in order to promote its international communism. He reminded the Chinese people that the CCP is careless about the lives of the people, so they need to store some food in preparation for the crisis.

Leshan is one of the hardest hit cities in Sichuan Province as floods wreaked havoc for weeks. Then, a chemical accident occurred on Aug. 20. Thick smoke surrounded the chemical plant, emitting a strong odor. Residents suspect it was a chlorine leak.

Local authorities confirmed that there was an accident, but emphasized that “the leak is now under control and there was no explosion.”

Thousands of residents poured out of the city, by car or motorcycle, filling the streets and causing serious traffic jams.

One Chinese person who posted a video of the evacuation on Twitter lamented, “What a life—die from either drowning in the floods or from toxic gas.”

Locals are outraged at how officials handled the accident. One person said, “When residents reported a chemical leak that was likely chlorine, the official propaganda emphasized the fact that there was no explosion and asked everyone not to spread or believe any rumors. When human lives are in danger, you play word games to downplay the severity. Your country’s emergency handling is always totally incompetent.”

Chinese netizens often use “your country” when criticizing the Chinese regime, to show their strong disapproval of the corrupt system.

The CCP has been heavily promoting digital RMB and has recently announced major trials. This has aroused public attention. Experts believe that this is a new monetary measure implemented by the CCP to tighten control over the people and to prepare to return to a planned economy. On August 14, the Ministry of Commerce of the CCP expanded the scale of the digital RMB pilot project in 28 urban areas including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanghai, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and the midwest areas.

Xie Tian, chair professor in Business at University of South Carolina Aiken, believes that one of the reasons for the CCP to promote digital RMB is related to the rapid economic deterioration. Because a large amount of paper money is printed, when all this money goes into the market, it will trigger a huge inflation and cause economic crisis and social unrest. Another reason is that digital currencies can be used to punish corrupt officials who own lots of paper money through corruption.

Another reason for the CCP to implement digital currency is to further control the people. Xie Tian indicated that the CCP has already been controlling people’s life and consumption through GPS, surveillance cameras, WeChat, and TikTok. Now, people’s salaries will be transferred directly to their mobile phones as a digital currency linked to their real names.

Economists commented online that digital currency is not the best way for China to reverse the international situation and is also not the solution to save the CCP regime. Whether it’s unlimited printing of paper money, restricting people’s freedom, or implementing a planned economy, the digital currency will chase the Chinese people back into a small cage from a spacious yard. This is a path that leads people to slavery from freedom and wealth.

Recently, a series of protests occurred in Belarus. A controversial presidential election led citizens onto the streets demanding Alexander Lukashenko, who has been in power for many years, to step down. After nine days of massive protests on the streets of Minsk, the capital of Belarus, and a strong public opinion, the current president, Alexander Lukashenko, was forced to agree that a new presidential election will take place after the constitutional referendum.

On August 16, about 200,000 people joined the March for Freedom protesting Lukashenko’s dishonest re-election. In the face of a protesting crowd, the CCP mouth-piece CCTV reported that 70,000 people were gathered together to support the government, maintaining stability and peace. However, the so-called 70,000 people were not seen in the footage.

Zheng Haochang, a commentator on current affairs residing in the U.S., said, “Such cases of democracy overthrowing a dictatorship are extremely sensitive to the CCP, a regime that is overly obsessed with power. Historically, the CCP only reports activities that are favorable to the regime when it comes to dealing with protesters. You see this way of reporting on the protests of the Extradition Bill in Hong Kong by the state-run media. Instead of measuring the legs of an elephant, the CCP tells you the measurements of the legs by measuring the nose. This is a classic diversionary tactic. The CCP is afraid of reporting on those protesters because such actions are exactly what it is afraid of.”

65-year-old Lukashenko was the first president after Belarus became independent in 1994 and has remained in power until now. Since the elections have always been controversial, and opponents and dissidents always face suppression, imprisonment, exile, and “being disappeared”, experts believe that Belarus is identical to China.

Sheng Xue said, “The situation in China today has reached a point where fundamental changes must be made to such a system in China. Reforming, adjusting, and improving the system on certain levels is no longer applicable to the CCP.” She expressed that Belarus is currently under a reforming transformation and China has already missed that opportunity.

On August 19, the Three Gorges Dam opened 10 spillways to lower the flood pressure for the first time since 2003 when the massive dam started operation. On the day before, Sichuan Province issued a Level One Flood Alert, also for the first time in history. Floodwaters reached the feet of Leshan Giant Buddha for the first time in 70 years.

The fifth flood peak entered the Three Gorges Reservoir on Aug. 19 at a speed of 74,000 cubic meters per second. The Dam opened 10 spillways to discharge the flood, a record high since the opening of the dam.

Four days ago, the dam was just hit by the fourth Flood Peak on Aug. 14.

The fifth flood turned part of Chongqing into a swamp land. Many roads were shut off.

Water flooded the gate of Chaotianmen Wharf, and shops near the Yangtze river began to evacuate the day before.

By 10 a.m. on Aug. 19, water level at Chaotianmen Wharf exceeded the safety level by 5.69 meters (18.7 feet), and it was still rising.

Leshan City of Sichuan Province is one of the worst-hit cities as three major rivers—Min, Qingyi and Dadu Rivers, converge inside the city. After days of torrential rains in the province, water levels at all three rivers kept rising and eventually inundated Leshan City. In some places, floodwaters reached rooftops.

The 233 ft. high, Leshan Giant Buddha—the tallest stone Buddha in the world—had its feet covered by water, and the scenic spot was closed. This is the first time since 1949 that the Leshan Giant Buddha has been flooded to its feet.

The Buddha statue took 90 years to build between 713 and 803 (Tang Dynasty), specifically for the purpose of protecting people from water-related disasters, especially for preventing boats from sinking.

There is a folklore saying among locals which says, “toes in water, flooding to follow.” It means, when water level covers the Buddha statue’s toes, the entire province will be severely flooded.

The flood also caused a road to collapse. During the early morning hours of Aug. 19, the street in front of Yinlong Square in Yibin City suddenly collapsed to form a huge pit, swallowing 21 cars instantly.

On the same day, a man in Deyang City was washed away when filming the floods on the river bank of Min River.

As the CCP virus continues to rage the world, Canada is getting hit hard by the plague, with Quebec province being the worst region, accounting more than half of the country’s confirmed cases and deaths. The relationship between Canada and the CCP, especially Quebec officials and the consortium, has contributed to the situation. Joseph Jacques Jean Chrétien was a former Prime Minister of Canada, and during his ten years as the premier, he met with Jiang Zemin, the CCP former leader, 17 times.

In 2013, Justin Trudeau, the son of former Prime Minister of Canada, Pierre Trudeau, once said in his campaign: “There’s a level of admiration I actually have for China. Because their basic dictatorship is allowing them to actually turn their economy around on a dime.” Immediately after he took over the office, he engaged with the CCP regime and even considered signing an extradition treaty.

In 2014, former Premier of Quebec Province, Philippe Couillard, said that he had never mentioned issues of human rights in China, and only discussed investments and employment. In 2018, Couillard visited China and signed 40 agreements worth $262 million CAD.

From 2003 to 2012, former Premier of Quebec, Jean Charest, visited China several times. Currently, he is a consultant to Huawei advising in the extradition case of Meng Wanzhou and also fighting for Huawei to participate in the 5G network in Canada.

The CCP virus plague spread from Wuhan, China, to the entire world. More and more people have now seen the threats from the CCP. “If the CCP had not lied, this global spread of the CCP virus could have been avoided.” The Epoch Times also indicated that distancing from the CCP is the best remedy for avoiding the plague.

Residents in Chinese cities Chongqing and Wuhan were keeping their fingers crossed when the fifth flood peak on the Yangtze River arrived at the Three Gorges Dam.

The water coming into the dam reached 75,000 cubic meters per second on the morning of Aug. 20, the highest level since the dam was commissioned in 2003.

Water levels and flood volume in Yangtze River’s Chongqing section, which is immediately upstream of the dam, both exceeded the previous historical record set in 1981. In the riverside districts, residents who live on the first and second floors were required to evacuate.

The dam opened 11 spillways to discharge water, at a record speed of 49,200 cubic meters per second, as downstream Wuhan issued an orange alert for more rainstorms to come.
