Bernie Sanders revealed that shots were fired into his Nevada campaign office and that an “apartment housing complex my campaign staff lived in was broken into and ransacked.“
The Vermont senator, who lost his Secret Services protection earlier this month, was also pictured with a bruise on his face at the Democratic National Convention, prompting many to believe there has been a long running campaign of violence and intimidation against the Sanders campaign.
Sanders made the statement about the shooting and burglary in response to “criticisms made against my campaign organization.”
