Bahraini activist sentenced to 2yrs in jail for spreading ‘false news’

A prominent Bahrani human rights activist Nabeel Rajab has been sentenced to two years in jail after being found guilty by a Bahraini court of ‘publishing and broadcasting false news’. Activist was arrested last year after speaking out about the Gulf kingdom’s human rights record.
