Y’all have probably heard by now about the alleged treasury direct account associated to your birth certificate. A recent media blast on this topic has created a surge in people using the numbers on the backs of their social security cards to pay bills online. I heard this morning that these transactions might be reversed unless you are registered as a secured creditor (and people are researching how to achieve this title in order to successfully use this account to pay their bills).
